The Mrkt Drop participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that some of the links on this site are affiliate links. When you click on an affiliate link and make a purchase from the retailer on the other side, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
How it works
We hand-pick products from a variety of retailers. When we feature a product on the site, we use an affiliate link where one is available through a partner program we’ve joined (such as Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, Skimlinks, Admitad, or direct retailer programs). Clicking the link and making a purchase within a retailer’s tracking window may earn us a commission. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Editorial independence
Our product selections are driven by editorial taste, not commission rates. We do not receive payment to feature specific products. We do not prioritize higher-commission retailers in our rankings. If we wouldn’t wear it, style it, or put it in our own homes, it doesn’t get featured — regardless of how much it would earn us.
Your cost
You pay the exact same price whether you click through our affiliate link or navigate to the retailer directly. Commissions come out of the retailer’s margin, not your wallet. You are never charged extra for using our links.
FTC compliance
In accordance with Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR Part 255 (“Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”), we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and prominently. Individual product cards and editorial pieces that contain affiliate links are labeled accordingly where applicable.
About our imagery
Most product imagery shown on The Mrkt Drop is sourced directly from the retailer’s own product pages — meaning the images you see here are the same ones the retailer uses to represent the product on their own website. We display these images for the purpose of editorial commentary and recommendation, and all product imagery remains the property of the respective retailers and brands.
In addition to retailer-sourced imagery, The Mrkt Drop may occasionally display AI-generated styled renderings created for editorial presentation. These are designed to help readers visualize how a piece might look as part of a curated drop or styled moment. Every AI-generated image on the site is labeled with a clearly visible “AI-generated styled image” indicator directly on or next to the image itself — never hidden in fine print or alt text alone.
An AI-generated styled image is not the retailer’s original product photograph. It is a visual interpretation, and the actual item you will see on the retailer’s website may look different in lighting, styling, color rendering, or context. We encourage readers to always verify the product’s actual appearance on the retailer site before making a purchase decision.
If you are ever uncertain whether an image on The Mrkt Drop is from the retailer or AI-generated, the presence or absence of an “AI-generated styled image” label is the definitive answer. No label means the image is retailer-sourced.
Clear and conspicuous policy
We believe disclosures should be visible, not buried. On The Mrkt Drop you will find:

We will never imply that an AI-generated styled image is a retailer’s original product photograph, and we will never present affiliate content without disclosing the relationship on the same page.
